Vincent Capasso, Jr. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College with a BA in 1974 and then graduated from Albany Law School in 1977.
Vincent is a former President of the Schenectady County Bar Association; Fourth District Representative to the Executive Council for the New York State Conference of Bar Leaders; Active member of the Schenectady County Bar Association; New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, National Association of Bar Executives; Former President and Member of the Board of Directors of the Heritage Home for Women; Former member of Board of Directors of Glenville Cooperative Nursery School; Member of Board of Directors of Capital Region Chapter of National Italian American Bar Association and one of its original founding members; former Coach and member of Burnt Hills Babe Ruth and Scotia Glenville Little League and Member of the Edison Club.
In 2003 Vincent was appointed to the Committee of Professional Standards, Appellate Division, Third Department and was reappointed in 2006 to serve a second three-year term. He also served on the Executive Committee of the Committee of Professional Standards.
Vincent was honored by way of his selection to “The Best Lawyers in America” in 2003 and has been so honored every year since. In 2009 Vincent was nominated and selected for inclusion to Super Lawyers as recognized by his peers for his professional achievement and high ethical standards. He was also recognized by both New York Magazine and Hudson Valley Magazine as being one of New York’s top lawyers. He is a past lecturer at various County Bar, State Bar and CLE Seminars and the New York State Judicial Institute.
Vincent is a partner in the law firm of Capasso & Massaroni LLP located at 215 State Street in Schenectady, New York.
Vincent lives with his wife of over 35 years, Janice, in Glenville, New York.
